Students and Alumni of the Rutgers-NJIT Theatre Program to Present a Short Film in Two Screenings
Rodney Reyes of the Theatre Arts and Technology Program at NJIT, along with current students and alumni from the Rutgers-NJIT Theatre Program, will present their film "Vacant Heart" as an official selection of both the Newark International Film Festival in September and as a finalist in the I'm So Newark Short Film Contest "Finalist Films" Screening Thursday, July 27.
The film features actresses Rianna Evita Ronquillo, B. Kassandra Perez, Eboni Pearce and crew Luiz Leao III and Emannuel Vizzotti (B.S. Chemical Engineering, ’12 and M.S. Chemical Engineering, ’13), who are all participants of the Rutgers-NJIT Theatre Program.
I'm So Newark's Short Film Contest's screening will take place, Thursday, July 27, 7 p.m. at Express Newark, 54 Halsey Street, Newark. Admission is free.
The Newark International Film Festival will take place Sept. 8-10, 2017 in Newark. Showtimes have not yet been announced.
The NJIT Theatre Arts and Technology Program has been part of the Rutgers-NJIT Joint Theatre Program since 1993.
